Hidden Gem

Ryrie's

At the start of Dalry Road you'll pass a beautifully decorated traditional pub called Ryries.  This little changed Edwardian Public house first appears on an 1830 map of the area as The Hay Weights.

In 1842, after the railway was put in the name was changed to The Railway Inn.  Once Axlexander Ryrie Snr took over in 1862, it was renamed The Haymarket Inn.

In 1906 his descendants remodeled into the building we see today.  It has once again been lovingly restored to its original condition in 2022, 160 years after the Ryrie family first began operation.

Step inside for local tap beers, 8 real ale taps, whisky, great pub food and cocktails.
